Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of recycled poly(ethylene terephthalate) content on properties of extruded poly(ethylene terephthalate) sheets

TL;DR: In this paper, 60 polyethylene terephthalate (PET) sheets containing 0-100% recycled-PET (RPET) bottle flake were produced using industrial extruders.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Novel Approach to Determining Violence Risk in Schizophrenia: Developing a Stepped Strategy in 13,806 Discharged Patients

TL;DR: In this article, a Cox regression was used to determine risk factors for violent crime and construct the screening tool, the predictive validity of which was measured using four outcome statistics, the instrument was calibrated on 6,903 participants and cross-validated using three independent replication samples of 2,301 participants each.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bi-enzyme functionalized electro-chemically reduced transparent graphene oxide platform for triglyceride detection.

TL;DR: Electrochemical response studies carried out using cyclic voltammetry reveal that the fabricated electrode can detect tributyrin in the range of 50-400 mg dL-1 with high sensitivity, low response time, long-term stability and a low apparent Michaelis-Menten constant (Kappm) of 0.18 mM.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characterization of ionically bound peroxidases from apple (Mallus pumilus) fruits.

TL;DR: Ionically bound peroxidases (POD) were salt extracted from the pulp of four Indian apple varieties, i.e., Golden delicious HP, Golden delicious JK, Red delicious, and Royal delicious and showed thermostability at 60°C, while three other per oxidases were observed at 50°C.
Journal ArticleDOI

Replicating the Violence Risk Appraisal Guide : A Total Forensic Cohort Study

TL;DR: Measurement of the calibration validity of risk assessment instruments needs to be improved, as has been done with respect to discrimination, and additional replication studies that focus on the calibration of actuarial risk Assessment instruments are needed.
