Biosynthesis of titanium dioxide nanoparticles using vigna radiata

TL;DR: In this article, a green synthesis of titanium dioxide nanoparticles is carried out in simple steps using Vigna radiata legumes, and the effectiveness of biologically synthesized titanium nanoparticles against clinical pathogens and anticancer activity were checked.
Journal ArticleDOI

Biomineralization and formulation of endosulfan degrading bacterial and fungal consortiums.

TL;DR: Low cost solid materials such as sawdust, soil, fly ash, molasses and nutrients were used for the formulation of microbial consortium and to achieve greater multiplication and survival of the microbial strains.
Journal ArticleDOI

Efficient management of e-wastes

TL;DR: The most important reasons for e-waste recycling are waste removal as well as recovery of valuable materials present in the waste as mentioned in this paper, however, India still needs to have a rigid law for the ewaste management.
Journal ArticleDOI

Kinetic studies on enhancement of degradation of chlorpyrifos and its hydrolyzing metabolite TCP by a newly isolated Alcaligenes sp. JAS1

TL;DR: JAS1 bacterial strain capable of degrading chlorpyrifos and its major metabolite 3,5,6-trichloro-2-pyridinol (TCP) were isolated from paddy field soil and showed undetectable level of pesticide in 24 h, whereas in the absence of nutrients the pesticide was found to be degraded in 48 h.
Journal ArticleDOI

Microstructure, mechanical properties and biocorrosion behavior of dissimilar welds of AISI 904L and UNS S32750

TL;DR: In this paper, the joining of 5mm thick plates of marine grade, super-austenitic (AISI 904L) and super-duplex stainless steels (UNS S32750) by pulsed current gas tungsten arc welding using duplex and austenitic stainless steel fillers was addressed.
