About a non-homogeneous Hardy-inequality and its relation with the spectrum of Dirac operators

TL;DR: A nonhomogeneous Hardy-like inequality has recently been found to be closely related to the knowledge of the lowest eigenvalue of a large class of Dirac operators in the gap of their continuous spectrum as discussed by the authors.

Stability for the logarithmic Sobolev inequality

TL;DR: In this paper, stability results for the Gaussian logarithmic Sobolev inequality were obtained using entropy methods and the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck flow, with the strongest possible norm with the optimal exponent under constraints.

Sharp interpolation inequalities on the sphere : new methods and consequences

TL;DR: In this paper, the connexion between optimal constants and spectral properties of the Laplace-Beltrami operator on the sphere has been discussed and a series of related observations and proofs based on symmetrization and the ultraspherical setting are given.
