Journal ArticleDOI
NiMo-NiCu Inexpensive Composite with High Activity for Hydrogen Evolution Reaction.
Hugo Leandro Sousa dos Santos,Patricia Gon Corradini,Marina Medina,Jeferson Almeida Dias,Lucia H. Mascaro +4 more
TL;DR: The combination of the large electroactive area due to the copper addition, the synergism between Ni-Mo, and the presence of Ni and Mo oxides on the surface results in catalyst with excellent features for HER application.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lanthanum-Based Perovskites for Catalytic Oxygen Evolution Reaction
Jeferson Almeida Dias,Marcos A.S. Andrade,Hugo Leandro Sousa dos Santos,Márcio Raymundo Morelli,Lucia H. Mascaro +4 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Production of Nanometric Bi4Ti3O 12 Powders: from Synthesis to Optical and Dielectric Properties
TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis and annealing parameters for the production of nanometric Bi4Ti3O12 and its properties were evaluated through the solution combustion route, and the impacts of annaling temperature on the materials physicochemical features as well as their optical and electrical properties were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Photocatalytic degradation of Prozac® mediated by TiO2 nanoparticles obtained via three synthesis methods: sonochemical, microwave hydrothermal, and polymeric precursor.
Ailton José Moreira,Ailton José Moreira,Lilian Oliveira Campos,Caroline Piza Maldi,Jeferson Almeida Dias,Elaine C. Paris,Tania R. Giraldi,Gian Paulo Giovanni Freschi +7 more
TL;DR: Following Prozac® photodegradation, quantitative monitoring of its by-products (PPMA, MAEB, and TFMP) was done using HPLC, which led to the conclusion that semiconductor photoactivity cannot be discussed solely in terms of the main compound.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evaluation of the Photocatalytic Potential of TiO2 and ZnO Obtained by Different Wet Chemical Methods
Patrícia Gonçalves,Roberto Bertholdo,Jeferson Almeida Dias,Sylma Carvalho Maestrelli,Tania R. Giraldi +4 more
TL;DR: In this article, the development of TiO2 and ZnO particles by a chemical route, using two different wet synthesis methods: polymeric precursor (PP) and sol-gel (SG).
