Journal ArticleDOI

On the inverse sum indeg index

TL;DR: In this paper, the Inverse Sum Indeg index was selected as a significant predictor of total surface area of octane isomers, and extremal values of this index across several graph classes, including connected graphs, chemical graphs, trees and chemical trees.
Journal ArticleDOI

Remoteness, proximity and few other distance invariants in graphs

Jelena Sedlar
- 01 Jan 2013 -
TL;DR: Aouchiche et al. as mentioned in this paper established maximal trees and graphs for the difference of average distance and proximity, proving that the corresponding conjecture posed in M. Aouchiche, P. Hansen, and Networks 58 (2) (2011) 95102 hold for trees.
Journal Article

Total forcing number of the triangular grid

TL;DR: In this paper, the upper and lower bounds for the smallest value of |E| were established, and it was shown that 5 4 n 2 − 21 2 n + is a tight bound.

Variable Neighborhood Search for Extremal Graphs. 25. Products of Connectivity and Distance Measures

TL;DR: In this article, the upper bounds for products of four measures of distances in graphs: diameter, radius, average eccentricity and remoteness with three measures of connectivity: vertex connectivity, algebraic connectivity and edge connectivity are analyzed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bounds on metric dimensions of graphs with edge disjoint cycles

TL;DR: It is shown that the vertex and edge metric dimensions obtain values from two particular consecutive integers, which can be determined from the structure of the graph, and it is obtained that these two invariants can differ for at most one for a same unicyclic graph.
