Journal ArticleDOI

Solution structures of the R6 human insulin hexamer.

TL;DR: The study shows that the orientation of the Phe(B25) ring has no effect on the structure of the rest of the molecule, within the uncertainty of the structure determination, and the importance of these findings for the current model for the insulin-receptor interaction is discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

The applicability of the magnetization-transfer NMR technique to determine chemical exchange rates in extreme cases. The importance of complementary experiments

TL;DR: In this paper, it is shown that a conventional two-site magnetization transfer experiment provides insufficient amount of information to allow a reliable determination of the exchange rate, unless |λ2| ⪢ |λ1|, where λ1 and λ2 are the time constants of the two exponentials involved.
Journal ArticleDOI

Heating effects in carbon-13 NMR spectroscopy on aqueous solutions caused by proton noise decoupling at high frequencies

TL;DR: In this article, the 1H noise-decoupling field was used to measure the heating effect of aqueous solution of a 50 50 vol% mixture of acetone-d6 and carbon tetrachloride.
