Journal ArticleDOI

Reproducibility of ultrasound attenuation imaging for the noninvasive evaluation of hepatic steatosis

TL;DR: ATI showed high intra- and inter-observer reproducibility in the assessment of hepatic steatosis, and showed a significant correlation with the visual grade of hepatosis for both reviewers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Diagnostic Performance of LI-RADS Treatment Response Algorithm for Hepatocellular Carcinoma: Adding Ancillary Features to MRI Compared with Enhancement Patterns at CT and MRI

TL;DR: The application of MRI ancillary features to the Liver Imaging Reporting and Data System Treatment Response algorithm resulted in higher sensitivity and no change in specificity compared with CT or MRI enhancement patterns alone in the prediction of pathologic tumor viability in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma.
Journal ArticleDOI

Assessment of liver fibrosis using 2-dimensional shear wave elastography: a prospective study of intra- and inter-observer repeatability and comparison with point shear wave elastography.

TL;DR: S-Shearwave Imaging demonstrated excellent intra- and inter-observer repeatability, and a strong correlation with pSWE measurements of liver stiffness, however, because of the significant difference between LSMs obtained using 2D-SWE and pS THE AUTHORS, these methods should not be used interchangeably.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparison of guidelines for diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma using gadoxetic acid-enhanced MRI in transplantation candidates.

TL;DR: To compare diagnostic performances of current guidelines for the diagnosis of HCC in LT candidates using gadoxetic acid–enhanced liver MRI, patients who underwent preoperative Gd-EOB-MRI and subsequent LT were included and KLCA-NCC more accurately classified patients not appropriate transplantation candidates than EASL.
