Interactions between 1-benzoyl-4-p-chlorophenyl thiosemicarbazide and serum albumin: investigation by fluorescence spectroscopy

TL;DR: By the analysis of fluorescence spectrum and fluorescence intensity, it was showed that BCPT has a strong ability to quench the intrinsic fluorescence of both bovine serum albumin and human serumalbumin through a static quenching procedure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Interaction of human serum albumin with N-(4-ethoxyphenyl)-N'-(4-antipyrinyl) thiourea using spectroscopies and molecular modeling method

TL;DR: In this article, the interaction between N-(4-ethoxyphenyl)-N '-(4 -antipyrinyl) thiourea (EPAT) and human serum albumin (HSA) was studied by fluorescence spectroscopy in combination with UV absorption spectrography.
Journal ArticleDOI

Selective 1,4‐Reduction of Chalcones with Zn/NH4Cl/C2H5OH/H2O

TL;DR: In this paper, the Zn/NH 4 Cl/C 2 H 5 OH/H 2 O system was applied for the selective 1,4-reduction of chalcones under mild conditions with high selectivity.
Journal ArticleDOI

The binding of 3-(p-bromophenyl)-5-methyl-thiohydantoin with human serum albumin: Investigation by fluorescence spectroscopy and molecular model

TL;DR: In this article, the binding of 3-(p-bromophenyl)-5-methyl-thiohydantoin (BPMT) with human serum albumin (HSA) was investigated by fluorescence spectroscopy in combination with UV absorption spectrum under physiological conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thiourea: An Efficient and Inexpensive Catalyst for the Knoevenagel Condensation of Pyrazole Derivates

TL;DR: In the presence of 10 mol% of thiourea, pyrazole aldehyde react with active methylene compound under microwave assisted solvent-free conditions at 300 W for 2-5 min to give corresponding products in good yields as mentioned in this paper.
