Journal ArticleDOI

QTL IciMapping: Integrated software for genetic linkage map construction and quantitative trait locus mapping in biparental populations

TL;DR: QTL IciMapping is freely available public software capable of building high-density linkage maps and mapping quantitative trait loci (QTL) in biparental populations and to perform analysis of variance for multi-environmental trials.
Journal ArticleDOI

A modified algorithm for the improvement of composite interval mapping

TL;DR: A modified algorithm called inclusive composite interval mapping (ICIM) is proposed in this article, which retains all advantages of CIM over IM and avoids the possible increase of sampling variance and the complicated background marker selection process in CIM.
Journal ArticleDOI

Inclusive composite interval mapping (ICIM) for digenic epistasis of quantitative traits in biparental populations

TL;DR: An inclusive composite interval mapping (ICIM) is proposed by simultaneously considering marker variables and marker-pair multiplications in a linear model and can be identified by Epistatic QTL, no matter whether the two interacting QTL have any additive effects.
Journal ArticleDOI

QTL analysis for rice grain length and fine mapping of an identified QTL with stable and major effects.

TL;DR: The genetic basis of grain length was dissected into six main-effect quantitative trait loci (QTLs) and twelve pairs of epistatic QTLs and a major QTL, qGL-3a, was found to express stably not only in the isogenic background of Asominori but also in the recombinant background of asominori and IR24 under multiple environments.
