TL;DR: In this article, two resistance formulas, Teopler and Rompe-Weizel, are introduced for analysing the transient electromagnetic fields caused by ESD, and the experimental results given by Wilson and Ma (1992) are used to decide which of these resistance formulas is the better.

21 May 1997TL;DR: By employing a composite noise generator (CNG) to simulate non-Gaussian impulsive noise, the bit error rate (BER) for minimum shift keying (MSK) and Gaussian filtered Minimum Shift keying with differential detection are evaluated experimentally.
Abstract: By employing a composite noise generator (CNG) to simulate non-Gaussian impulsive noise, the bit error rate (BER) for minimum shift keying (MSK) and Gaussian filtered minimum shift keying (GMSK) with differential detection are evaluated experimentally. An upper bound of BER for MSK is also given.
