Journal ArticleDOI
Numerical simulation study on dust pollution characteristics and optimal dust control air flow rates during coal mine production
TL;DR: In this article, a highly simulated physical model of the goaf and multiple dust sources were established in order to obtain the optimal dust-removal air flow rate in the roadway, by combining the numerical simulation method, the influence of the flow rate on dust diffusion rules of the dust sources was analyzed.
Journal ArticleDOI
The preparation of a novel hydrogel based on crosslinked polymers for suppressing coal dusts
TL;DR: In this paper, a new dust suppression gel was prepared by graft copolymerization of itaconic acid-acrylic acid polymer and bentonite, which had excellent wind erosion resistance and could effectively reduce the occurrence of coal dust during coal transportation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Study of the microscopic mechanism of lauryl glucoside wetting coal dust: Environmental pollution prevention and control.
Wenjin Niu,Wen Nie,Mingyue Yuan,Qiu Bao,Weiwei Zhou,Jiayi Yan,Fengning Yu,Chengyi Liu,Ning Sun,Qianqian Xue +9 more
TL;DR: The dynamics simulation results showed that APG-12 molecules can be easily adsorbed on the surface of coal molecules and then adsorb water molecules around them under the action of hydrogen bonds, consistent with the results of an analysis of the system's radial distribution function and the relative concentration distribution of each component in the Z-axis direction.
Journal ArticleDOI
Determining the effect of the non-ionic surfactant AEO9 on lignite adsorption and wetting via molecular dynamics (MD) simulation and experiment comparisons
Mingyue Yuan,Wen Nie,Weiwei Zhou,Jiayi Yan,Qiu Bao,Changjian Guo,Peng Tong,Haihan Zhang,Lidian Guo +8 more
TL;DR: By combining a molecular dynamics (MD) simulation approach with experimental measurements, the authors elucidated the molecular interactions between the fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether-9 (AEO9; ie, a surfactant) and lignite.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preparation and performance study of a novel polymeric spraying dust suppression agent with enhanced wetting and coagulation properties for coal mine
Haihan Zhang,Wen Nie,Jiayi Yan,Qiu Bao,Hongkun Wang,Hu Jin,Huitian Peng,Dawei Chen,Zhiqiang Liu,Qiang Liu +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, an environmental friendly spray dust suppressant with improved wettability and coagulation properties was developed by a chemical modification method, which was synthesized by nucleophilic substitution reaction between natural polymer guar gum and propylene oxide.
