Journal ArticleDOI

Molecular evolution of two asymptomatic echovirus 6 strains that constitute a novel branch of recently epidemic echovirus 6 in China.

TL;DR: There are some E6 strains which did not cause the disease in the children of Yunnan, but some new mutations were found in the 2C, 3AB and 3C genes of these asymptomatic strains, and these mutations may be constraint by the natural selection and could be potentially responsible for clinical presentations.
Journal ArticleDOI

[Analysis of the 14 bp insertion/deletion polymorphism in human leukocyte antigen-G gene in Chinese Dai and Han ethnic groups in Yunnan Province].

TL;DR: Zhang et al. as mentioned in this paper genotyped 14 bp insertion/deletion polymorphisms in exon 8 of HLA-G gene in Dai and Han populations in Yunnan Province.
Journal ArticleDOI

Association between single nucleotide polymorphisms of 5′-untranslated region of GPx4 gene and male infertility

TL;DR: The SNPs of 5'-UTR region of the GPx4 gene might not be associated with oligo- or asthenozoospermic male infertility, however, the haplotype might be a protective haplotype.
Journal ArticleDOI

Genetic evidence of tri-genealogy hypothesis on the origin of ethnic minorities in Yunnan

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors analyzed 242 whole-exome sequencing data with high coverage (~ 100-150 ×) of Yunnan minorities representing Achang, Jingpo, Dai, and Deang, who were linguistically assumed to be derived from three ancient lineages.
