Ultrafast fiber lasers mode-locked by two-dimensional materials: review and prospect
Tian Jiang,Ke Yin,Cong Wang,Jie You,Hao Ouyang,Runlin Miao,Chenxi Zhang,Ke Wei,Han Li,Haitao Chen,Renyan Zhang,Xin Zheng,Zhongjie Xu,Xiangai Cheng,Han Zhang +14 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors mainly review the linear and nonlinear photonic properties of two-dimensional (2D) materials, as well as their nonlinear applications in efficient passive mode-locking devices and ultrafast fiber lasers.
Journal ArticleDOI
Anisotropic Nonlinear Optical Properties of a SnSe Flake and a Novel Perspective for the Application of All-Optical Switching
Chenxi Zhang,Hao Ouyang,Runlin Miao,Yizhen Sui,Hao Hao,Yuxiang Tang,Jie You,Xin Zheng,Zhongjie Xu,Xiangai Cheng,Tian Jiang +10 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Ultrafast terahertz transmission/group delay switching in photoactive WSe2-functionalized metaphotonic devices
Yuze Hu,Tian Jiang,Junhu Zhou,Hao Hao,Hao Sun,Hao Ouyang,Mingyu Tong,Yuxiang Tang,Han Li,Jie You,Xin Zheng,Zhongjie Xu,Xiangai Cheng +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a CVD-grown WSe2 multilayer on plasmon-induced transparency (PIT) metasurfaces was used to demonstrate that the transmission amplitude modulation is as high as 43% and the slow light switching is up to 6 ps in the THz regime.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hybrid/Integrated Silicon Photonics Based on 2D Materials in Optical Communication Nanosystems
TL;DR: The present study sets out to objectively measure the feasibility of the hybrid integration between Si photonics and 2D materials in on‐chip optical communications and the advanced applications beyond.
