The role and application of small extracellular vesicles in gastric cancer
TL;DR: In this article, the role of small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) in Gastric Cancer (GC) is summarized and the clinical application prospects in the future are highlighted.
Journal Article
A novel biodegradable esophageal stent: results from mechanical and animal experiments
TL;DR: In conclusion, the newly designed stent retained the strong radial force of self-expandable metal stents (SEMSs) and maintained the biodegradable properties of biodesgradable (BD) stents.
Journal ArticleDOI
Newly designed “pieced” stent in a rabbit model of benign esophageal stricture
TL;DR: In this experimental protocol of benign esophageal strictures, the novel "pieced" stent demonstrated a superior removal rate with a similar migration rate compared to a conventional stent.
Journal ArticleDOI
CT assessment of preoperative nutritional status in gastric cancer: severe low skeletal muscle mass and obesity-related low skeletal muscle mass are unfavorable factors of postoperative complications
Zhen Fang,Fengying Du,Liang Shang,Jin Liu,Fuxin Ren,Yubo Liu,Hao Wu,Yang Liu,Peijuan Li,Leping Li +9 more
TL;DR: LSMM was not significantly correlated with postoperative complications and was associated with age, body mass index, and Nutritional Risk Screening 2002 score, in the multivariate analysis; however, severe LSMM was a risk factor for postoperative complication.
Journal ArticleDOI
Novel detachable stents for the treatment of benign esophageal strictures.
TL;DR: 2 types of novel detachable stents provided an equally efficient supporting effect in vitro and in vivo and may reduce the incidence of secondary injury during stent removal.
