Use of sodium sulfosalicylate as an activator in hemimorphite sulfidation xanthate flotation

TL;DR: In this article , the effects of sodium sulfosalicylate activation and sodium sulfide sulfidation on hemimorphite flotation were studied, and the results showed that sulfosalicylic acid ions helped form more zinc sulfide on the mineral surface.
Journal ArticleDOI

Surface modification of hemimorphite by using ammonium carbamate and its response to flotation

TL;DR: The effect of ammonium carbamate (CH6N2O2) as a complexing agent on the sulfide flotation of hemimorphite was studied through flotation experiments, zeta potential, XPS, ToF-SIMS, AFM, and SEM-EDS as discussed by the authors .
Journal ArticleDOI

Sodium sulfosalicylate activation mechanism on sulfidation flotation of smithsonite using dodecylamine as a collector

TL;DR: In this paper , the sulfidation-dodecylamine flotation effects of smithsonite using sodium sulfosalicylate activation were investigated by micro-flotation, atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive spectroscopy (SEM-EDS), time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (ToF-SIMS), and fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR).
