Federated Learning for Energy-balanced Client Selection in Mobile Edge Computing

TL;DR: In this article, a new FL-based client selection optimization is proposed to balance the trade-off between energy consumption of the edge clients and the learning accuracy of FL, which is shown to be NP-complete.
Journal ArticleDOI

BloothAir: A Secure Aerial Relay System Using Bluetooth Connected Autonomous Drones

TL;DR: For encrypting the BLE communications in BloothAir, a channel-based secret key generation is proposed, where received signal strength at the drones and the ground devices is quantized to generate the secret keys.
Journal ArticleDOI

Confidentiality and Timeliness of Data Dissemination in Platoon-based Vehicular Cyber-Physical Systems

TL;DR: A comprehensive lowlatency cooperative security (LLCS) framework for secure and timely data dissemination in PVCPS is presented and it is believed that the LLCS framework is the demand of the time to enable secure and reliable autonomous driving for future PVCPS.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

A Practical Secret Key Management for Multihop Drone Relay Systems based on Bluetooth Low Energy

TL;DR: In this article, a practical secret key management for data relay security of bluetooth-connected drones is presented, where time-varying received signal strengths between the drones and the ground sensing nodes are quantized to generate the secret key pairs, where the quantization interval is adjusted to reduce the number of mismatched secret bits.
