Journal ArticleDOI

LIM homeobox transcription factor Isl1 is required for melatonin synthesis in the pig pineal gland.

TL;DR: The results presented here demonstrate that Isl1 positively modulates melatonin synthesis by targeting AANAT, via the ERK signaling pathway of NE, and suggest that isl1 plays important roles in maintaining the daily circadian rhythm.
Journal ArticleDOI

Neutrophil-activating therapy for the treatment of cancer.

TL;DR: In this paper , neutrophils are harnessed to induce eradication of tumors and reduce metastatic seeding through the combined actions of tumor necrosis factor, CD40 agonist, and tumor-binding antibody.
Journal ArticleDOI

P38α MAPK is a gatekeeper of uterine progesterone responsiveness at peri-implantation via Ube3c-mediated PGR degradation

TL;DR: The uterine-selective depletion of P38α derails normal uterine receptivity ascribed to the dramatic down-regulation of PR protein and disordered progesterone responsiveness in the uterine stromal compartment, leading to defective implantation and female infertility.
Journal ArticleDOI

IL-4 prevents adenosine-mediated immunoregulation by inhibiting CD39 expression

TL;DR: It is described that STAT6 phosphorylation downstream of IL-4 signaling represses CD39 expression on activated T cells by inducing a transcription factor network including GATA3, GFI1, and YY1.
Journal ArticleDOI

Casein kinase 1α regulates murine spermatogenesis by p53-Sox3 signaling.

TL;DR: The data suggest that CK1α regulates spermatogenesis and male fertility through p53-Sox3 signaling and deepen the understanding of the regulatory mechanism underlying the male reproductive system.
