DEFINITIONS OF TERMS RELATING TO REACTIONS OF POLYMERS AND TO FUNCTIONAL POLYMERIC MATERIALS (IUPAC Recommendations 2003)

TL;DR: In this article, the authors define the terms most commonly encountered in the field of polymer reactions and functional polymers, and describe functional polymeric materials as reactive polymeric components of polymers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Controlled and Living Polymerizations Induced with Rhodium Catalysts. A Review

TL;DR: In the last fifteen years, a large variety of specialty polymers of diverse chemical structure and functionality have been synthesized with rhodium-based catalysts The high tolerance to the reaction medium and functional groups of monomers, as well as ability to control various structure features of the polymer formed are typical properties of these catalysts as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Terminology of polymers containing ionizable or ionic groups and of polymers containing ions (IUPAC Recommendations 2006)

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors define the terms most commonly encountered in the field of polymers containing ionizable or ionic groups and polymers including ions, and only those terms that could be defined without ambiguity are considered.

DeFiniTionS oF TeRMS ReLATinG To ReACTionS oF PoLyMeRS AnD To FunCTionAL PoLyMeRiC MATeRiALS

TL;DR: In this article, the authors define the terms most commonly encountered in the field of polymer reactions and functional polymers, and describe functional polymeric materials as reactive polymeric components of polymers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of the polymerization temperature on the structure, morphology and conductivity of polyaniline prepared with ammonium peroxodisulfate

TL;DR: In this article, a correlation between the temperature dependence of PANI conductivity at low temperatures (range from 13 to 318 K) on one hand and the temperature regime of polyaniline preparation on the other hand was reported for the first time.
