A solar cell module includes: two solar cells, each including an photoelectric conversion body 10a, 10b having first and second main faces and generating photogenerated carriers, a first electrode provided on the first main face, and a second electrode provided on the first or second main face and having a polarity opposite to that of the first electrode; and a wiring member 2a for electrically connecting the first electrode of one of the two solar cells to the second electrode of the other solar cell. The first electrode has a plurality of finger electrodes for collecting the photogenerated carriers generated in the photoelectric conversion body 10a and a bus-bar electrode 11a for collecting the photogenerated carriers collected by the plurality of finger electrodes. The wiring member 2a is connected onto the bus-bar electrode 11a of the one solar cell through a connection layer 13 formed of a conductive resin containing conductive material. The connection layer 13 is also in contact with the first main face of the photoelectric conversion body 10a.

A fluoropolymer coated film comprising polymeric substrate film and fluoropolymer coating on the polymeric substrate film. The fluoropolymer coating comprises fluoropolymer selected from homopolymers and copolymers of vinyl fluoride and homopolymers and copolymers of vinylidene fluoride polymer blended with compatible adhesive polymer comprising functional groups selected from carboxylic acid, sulfonic acid, aziridine, anhydride, amine, isocyanate, melamine, epoxy, hydroxy, anhydride and mixtures thereof. The polymeric substrate film comprises functional groups on its surface that interact with the compatible adhesive polymer to promote bonding of the fluoropolymer coating to the substrate film.

The invention relates to a photovoltaic module for capturing and using solar radiation having as a backsheet a composition containing polyvinylidene fluoride. The polyvinylidene fluoride backsheet layer is exposed to the environment and provides chemical resistance, low water vapor transmission, electrical insulation, and UV light protection.

The sealing agent for a photoelectric conversion element can be used for pasting together upper and lower electroconductive glass substrates at an ordinary temperature in the manufacture of a photoelectric conversion element, and is excellent with respect to adhesion strength and the reliability in moisture resistance.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite material which is prepared by applying to a base a material constituted of a fluorine-containing polymer excellent in the adhesion to the base and has the design properties of the ground maintained, without necessitating complicated processes, and to provide the composite material which is excellent in weather resistance, non-tackiness, stainproof properties, water repellency, chemical resistance and sliding properties and has the design properties of the ground maintained. SOLUTION: This composite material is prepared by a method wherein a material constituted of a functional-group-containing and fluorine-containing ethylene polymer which is prepared by copolymerization of (a) at least one kind of monomer of 0.05-30 mol.% out of functional-group-containing and fluoride-containing ethylene monomers each having at least one kind of functional group selected from the group comprising a hydroxyl group, a carboxyl group, a carboxylic acid salt, a carboxyester group and an epoxy group and (b) at least one kind of monomer of 70-99.95 mol.% out of fluorine-containing ethylene monomers not having the aforesaid functional group and which has the functional group is applied to a base.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fluorine-containing material for a coating material which has properties (e.g. excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance, nonstickiness and low frictional properties) inherent in a fluoropolymer and can directly give tight bonding force to a substrate such as a metal or glass and to provide a method for coating an object therewith. SOLUTION: A functional-group-containing fluoroethylene polymer prepared by copolymerizing 0.05-30mol% at least one fluoroethylene monomer having any one functional group selected from among hydroxyl groups, carboxyl groups, carboxylate group, carboxyl ester groups and epoxy groups with 70-99.95mol% at least one monomer selected from among fluoroethylene monomers free from the above functional groups is used.
