The invention relates to a method for creating a soldered joint of a diffusion seal between parts that are made of identical or different materials, particularly metallic ones, and are provided with a coating for functional reasons. The method according to the invention is characterized in that parts which are made of identical or different materials, e.g. metallic materials, and at least one of which is provided with a functional coating, can be joined by using reactive nanocrystalline layers that are inserted or are applied directly to the parts which are to be joined. After triggering an exothermic reaction in the reactive nanocrystalline layer, said reactive nanocrystalline layer is a source of heat and supplies the energy required for fusing on the functional layer such that a connection is formed between the reactive nanocrystalline layer and the respective part and/or between the parts once the functional layer has cooled down.

Method of bonding iron based material and aluminum based material, and bonding joint

PURPOSE:To manufacture a steering stem component in light wt. and low cost by using a copper base welding wire so as to form calyx-like brazing bead to a protruding corner part, executing arc brazing and joining cast iron casting parts and mild steel parts. CONSTITUTION:Into a center hole 1a in a cast iron casting-made bottom bridge 1, the tip part of a mild steel stem pipe 2 is pressed while protruding a little. To this protruding corner part, the arc brazing is applied by using the copper- base welding wire to form the calyx-like brazing bead 3. The copper-base welding wire has lower m.p. than the cast iron casting parts and the casting material is not mixed into the brazing bead 3, and the bead 3 has good ductility and functions as a flange for preventing through-out. The steering stem component having light wt. and sufficient stem strength is obtd. in low cost.

Laser brazing method for butt joint

PURPOSE: To prevent the development of blow hole by using a wire containing the specific quantity or more of Cu and brazing under argon gas atmosphere in the method joining galonized, steel plates under superposing or butting plural pieces with laser beam heating source or plasma heat source. CONSTITUTION: By using a plasma welding machine, the galanized steel plates 1 are joined with a butt joint by using the wire containing ≥ 60% Cu. The brazing layer 1a is made at the joined part 10. In the case of using the plasma welding machine, the galvanized steel plate as the base material and the wire are heated by arc generated with W electrode. In the case of being the prescribed welding condition and the prescribed or lower welding current, the brazing is executed without existence of diffusion layer and in the case of being more than the prescribed welding current, the liquid phase diffusion brazing is executed. This plasma welding is executed under shield gas atmosphere of argon gas. Method for joining galvanized steel plates

PURPOSE: To finely disperse a compound and metallic powder by putting raw material powder having specified composition together with metallic balls in a pot sealed up tightly with inert gas and rotating this to pulverize the raw material powder by the metallic balls. CONSTITUTION: The raw material powder 3 compounded into the specified composition is put in the pot 1 sealed up tightly with inert gas together with the metallic balls 2 having the small diameters. This is rotated and the raw material powder 3 is pulverized by impact energy of the metallic balls 2. The raw material powder is constituted by adding ≥1 kind at least among compounds of Cu-Sn base, Ag-Sn base, Ni-Sn base and Sb-Sn base which are high melting point intermetallic compounds and metallic particles of Sb, In and Ag to Sn or Pb or Sn-Pb-based powder and the solder powder is manufactured. Manufacture of solder powder

PURPOSE:To allow joining with the higher strength than by an arc brazing method more easily than by an in-furnace diffusion joining method in a liquid phase by using a plasma heat source of a non-consumable electrode type and joining members while specifying a joining speed, the supply rate of a brazing material and current. CONSTITUTION:The members 4 consisting of a ferrous alloy and having =30% copper or a brazing material wire 3 contg. >=30% nickel. The members are joined by using the plasma heat source 2 of the non-consumable electrode type and by specifying the joining speed to =0.2g per 1cm and the current to >=50A. The joining in the shorter time than in ordinary joining or diffusion joining in the liquid phase is executed in this way.
