Journal ArticleDOI
The Addition of Tissue Stromal Vascular Fraction to Platelet-Rich Plasma Supplemented Lipofilling Does Not Improve Facial Skin Quality: A Prospective Randomized Clinical Trial.
Joris A van Dongen,Joeri van Boxtel,Joep C Willemsen,Linda A. Brouwer,Karin M. Vermeulen,Aartje Jorien Tuin,Martin C. Harmsen,Berend van der Lei,Hieronymus P Stevens +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stromal vascular fraction (SVF) were combined with lipofilling to increase the therapeutic effect of adipose-derived Stromal cells (ASCs).
Journal ArticleDOI
The Development of Facial Lipofilling from a Historical Point of View
TL;DR: The use of adipose derived stromal cells (ASCs) in adipose tissue and the development of very fine harvesting and injection cannulas which made it possible to inject small adipose tissues particles in small volume areas, such as the face as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Platelet Rich STROMA, the Combination of PRP and tSVF and Its Potential Effect on Osteoarthritis of the Knee
TL;DR: A single injection of autologous PRS for OA of the knee seems to lead to an improvement of function and simultaneous reduction of pain and joint stiffness for a period of twelve months.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mechanically Derived Tissue Stromal Vascular Fraction Acts Anti-inflammatory on TNF Alpha-Stimulated Chondrocytes In Vitro
TL;DR: Investigation of the immunomodulatory and pro-regenerative effect of tSVF on TNFα-stimulated chondrocytes in vitro suggests mechanically derived t SVF stimulates chONDrocyte proliferation while preserving the function of chondROcytes, and suppresses TNFβ and COX2 gene expression in order to show the potential of tVF as a treatment for osteoarthritis.
