Journal ArticleDOI

Photooxidation of Water at α ‐ Fe2 O 3 Electrodes

TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured spectrophotometric absorption coefficients and found that only a fraction of the light absorbed resulted in electrochemically reactive holes and fit the current potential curves within ± 1% to the depletion layer theory of Gartner.
Journal ArticleDOI

Flatband Potentials and Donor Densities of Polycrystalline α ‐ Fe2 O 3 Determined from Mott‐Schottky Plots

TL;DR: Capacitance and conductivity measurements were made on high purity and in liquid junction cells as discussed by the authors, and flatband potentials and donor densities were determined from Mott-Schottky plots and evidence for deep and shallow donors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Photoactivity of doped αFe2O3 electrodes

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of dopant type on the photocurrent, photopotential and spectral response as well as photocurrent efficiency with doping level is discussed and the roles that dopants may play are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and characterization of the B2S3Li2S, the P2S5Li2S and the B2S3P2S5Li2S glass systems

TL;DR: In this paper, a glass processing method that employs a carbon-coated quartz container was used to study the B2S3 containing glasses, which resulted in transparent glasses with a high Li2S content.
