Journal ArticleDOI

Rare earth elements in hydrothermal systems: Estimates of standard partial molal thermodynamic properties of aqueous complexes of the rare earth elements at high pressures and temperatures

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used predicted association constants for rare earth element (REE) complexes to calculate the speciation of the REEs in simulated and natural fluid compositions over ranges of pH, temperature, and pressure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Compositional variations among whole-rock fragments of the L6 chondrite Bruderheim

TL;DR: In this article, the Bruderheim chondrite was analyzed by INAA to determine extents of heterogeneity and to check earlier results that gave anomalous LREE concentrations, and significant compositional heterogeneity was observed in both concentrations (maximum/minimum of 1.7 for Ir, 1.8 for Na, 6.6 for La, 7.4 for Co).
