Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of incubation in human plasma on electrophoretic mobility of brain-type creatine phosphokinase

TL;DR: Gel chromatography indicated that incubation of brain CPK in human plasma did not markedly change the molecular size of the enzyme and the presence of the reducing agent mercaptoethanol tended to reduce the rate of change of electrophoretic mobility of BB-CPK.
Journal Article

Carcinoembryonic antigen and humoral antibody response in patients with thyroid carcinoma

TL;DR: The results suggest that the antigenic expression and host response to the tumor in patients with thyroid cancer depend on its pathogenesis, and similar findings in animal model systems are made.
Journal ArticleDOI

The further heterogeneity of creatine kinase: Presence of isoenzymes of cathodic mobility in rat tissues

TL;DR: A previously unreported isoenzyme associated with brain and kidney preparations is described; it is a minor contributor to brain creatine-kinase activity but is the major isoen enzyme for kidney.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) containing significantly increased amounts of galactose and galactosamine.

TL;DR: Differences in amino acid yield were noted; the concentrations of aspartate, serine, glycine and alanine being higher and that of lysine, histidine, arginine, proline, valine, isoleucine, leucine and tyrosine were lower than that reported for CEA prepared by previous methods.
