Patterns of viral clearance in the natural course of asymptomatic COVID-19: Comparison with symptomatic non-severe COVID-19.
Jae Sun Uhm,Jin Young Ahn,Jong Hoon Hyun,Yujin Sohn,Jung Ho Kim,Su Jin Jeong,Nam Su Ku,Jun Yong Choi,Yu Kyung Park,Ho sung Yi,Sung Kyu Park,Bong Ok Kim,Hye Won Kim,Jinwoo Choi,Seung mo Kang,Yeong Ho Choi,Hae Kyoung Yoon,Sunkyung Jung,Hyeong Nyeon Kim,Joon Sup Yeom,Yoon Park +20 more
TL;DR: The aim of the study was to elucidate patterns of SARS-CoV-2 clearance in the natural course of asymptomatic coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), which was found to be significantly shorter in the asymPTomatic group than in the symptomatic group.
Journal ArticleDOI
Risk factors for mortality in patients with Stenotrophomonas maltophilia bacteremia and clinical impact of quinolone–resistant strains
Eun Jin Kim,Yong Chan Kim,Jin Young Ahn,Su Jin Jeong,Nam Su Ku,Jun Yong Choi,Joon Sup Yeom,Young Goo Song +7 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that a high Charlson comorbidity score and indwelling of a CVC were significantly independent predictors of quinolone-resistant strains in SM bacteremia patients, and antibiotics should be carefully considered in patients with these predictive factors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparison of Serum CRP and Procalcitonin in Patients after Spine Surgery.
TL;DR: PCT may be useful in the diagnosing neurosurgical patients with postoperative fever of unknown origin and was significantly higher with older age, male, DM, hypertension, longer operation time, cervical operation, and use of instrumentation than with other markers of infection.
