The CBM Physics Book

TL;DR: The CBM Experiment as discussed by the authors has been used to study the properties of Strongly Interacting Matter (SIM) and its effects on collision dynamics and the CBM experiment in the real world.
Journal ArticleDOI

Finite particle number effects in high-energy nuclear collisions: Implications on pion spectra

TL;DR: In this paper, the pion production from high-energy nuclear collisions was studied by means of a simple statistical model, and the shapes of the observed spectra exclude that all pions result from freely decaying delta resonances.
Journal ArticleDOI

Energetic particles emitted from energetic nuclear reactions

TL;DR: In this article, the nuclear phase space model and a simplified multiple collision model were used to analyze a variety of projectile and target combinations in the beam-energy range of 0.08 to 2 Gev/nucl.
Journal ArticleDOI

Proton—Proton correlations in high-energy nuclear collisions

TL;DR: In this article, two-particle coincidence data are studied by the linear cascade model and the correlated contribution becomes obscured by an uncorrelated background, and the height and the position of the quasi-elastic peak is sensitively influenced by the background term and correlations due to the sharing of energy and momentum among more than two particles.
