Hypercyclic, topologically mixing and chaotic semigroups on Banach spaces

We study the hypercyclic behaviour of sequences of operators in
 a $C_0$-semigroup whose index set is a sector in the complex plane.
 The hypercyclicity and chaos for the concrete case of the translation semigroup is analyzed.
 Some examples are provided to complete the results.

Hypercyclic translation $C_0$-semigroups on complex sectors

We show that no power of any entire function is hypercyclic for Birkhoff’s translation operator on 
$$\mathcal{H}(\mathbb{C})$$

 . On the other hand, we see that the set of functions whose powers are all hypercyclic for MacLane’s differentiation operator is a Gδ-dense subset of 
$$\mathcal{H}(\mathbb{C})$$

Powers of Hypercyclic Functions for Some Classical Hypercyclic Operators

The chaotic and hypercyclic behavior of the C
 0-semigroups of operators generated by a perturbation of the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck operator with a multiple of the identity in $${L^2(\mathbb {R}^N)}$$
 is investigated. Negative and positive results are presented, depending on the signs of the real parts of the eigenvalues of the matrix appearing in the drift of the operator.
