TL;DR: In this paper , a digital advance within construction (DAWN) readiness model is proposed to assess the level of use of Industry 4.0 technologies by the construction sector in Brazil and its most relevant applications, showing that among the 13 evaluated technologies of I4.0 and their applications, the Brazilian construction companies had a low level of utilization.
Abstract: Purpose Construction industry (CI) has great prominence for the world economy, and it is expected that, with the use of the innovative technologies and approaches of Industry 4.0 (I4.0), the new industrial paradigm, construction can reach higher levels of productivity. This study aims to develop a model (readiness model) to assess the level of use of I4.0 technologies by the construction sector in Brazil and its most relevant applications. Design/methodology/approach The methodology used was bibliographic research, design-science research and a survey to validate the model, carried out with 162 companies, considered among the main ones in the sector in Brazil. The literature review revealed 13 technologies of I4.0 applied to construction; hence, the views of industry experts were based on these technologies. Findings The Digital Advancement Within CoNstruction (DAWN) readiness model was proposed, showing that among the 13 evaluated technologies of I4.0 and their applications, the Brazilian construction companies had a low level of utilization; both high and middle-income companies presented this low level of use; some technologies with a greater number of scientific publications were less used in practice in the Brazilian construction. Originality/value The originality and theoretical contribution are to present a readiness model to assess the level of use of I4.0 technologies and their most relevant applications in the CI in countries with an economy similar to Brazil’s, making it possible to measure the level of adoption of these technologies.

TL;DR: The impacts and effects of medication use during air transport are analyzed through a literature review and documentary research methodology, and relevant facts about the precautions that should be taken regarding the use of medication in flights were considered.
Abstract: During a flight, changes occur in the human body, whose possible reactions can influence the well-being and quality of health of medicine users, subject of scarce studies. The aim of this paper is to analyze the impacts and effects of medication use during air transport. Through a literature review and documentary research methodology, relevant facts about the precautions that should be taken regarding the use of medication in flights were considered. As a practical contribution, some important medications and their possible effects during flights are presented, as well as some warnings about medication interactions, and some advice for better quality air travel for the health of passengers and crew are given. As a theoretical contribution, this study gathers the scattered information presented in the literature about the problems that the use of medications during a flight can cause to the human body and possible recommendations. As social contribution, this study warns about the risks of self-medication, and establishes a basis for future discussions with society about the use of medication in flights.

TL;DR: In this paper , the modelo de campos e armas da competição (CAC) is used to support a procedimento for seleção of fornecedores.

TL;DR: In this paper , a systematic literature review was conducted, using bibliometrics and network and content analysis to understand how these models support the value creation and how the alignment takes place with the strategy, in addition to identifying gaps for future studies.
Abstract: The production models created by the industry throughout the twentieth century are now put in check in the face of technological developments and the new digital transformation of manufacturing, known as Industry 4.0 (I4.0). Although many advantages and possibilities are still perceived from this transition, there is little discussion about the business models that will best adapt to this context, making it opportune to review the business models that emerge or are adapted to this new paradigm. This study aims to study the business models related to I4.0, in order to understand how these models support the value creation and how the alignment takes place with the strategy, in addition to identifying gaps for future studies. The methodology used was a systematic literature review, using bibliometrics and network and content analysis. This research had a descriptive purpose, making use of secondary sources through bibliographic survey, with consultation of SCOPUS and Web of Science databases. The sample of 149 publications was analyzed, allowing the discussion of business models in the context of Industry 4.0. Likewise, the analysis of the selected articles made evident the wide scope for future research. It is concluded from the research, that business models in the context of Industry 4.0 point to sustainable industrial value creation and tend to be directed to consumers, with a flexible and customized demand offer, passing by the lot size one, mass customization, when companies will shift their focus from marketing their products to providing solutions to specific customer desires.
