Journal ArticleDOI
Phase transition in WO3 microcrystals obtained by sintering process
A. G. Souza Filho,J. Mendes Filho,Valder N. Freire,Alejandro Ayala,José Marcos Sasaki,Paulo Freire,F. E. A. Melo,J. F. Julião,Uilame Umbelino Gomes +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the vibrational properties of WO3 ceramics in the 30-300 K temperature range were probed by Raman spectroscopy, and the analysis of the spectra indicated that the new phase develops gradually and it comes mainly from the monoclinic (V) phase.
Journal ArticleDOI
High-pressure Raman study of taurine crystal
Ricardo Chaves Lima,A. M. R. Teixeira,Paulo Freire,José Marcos Sasaki,Alejandro Ayala,Francisco Melo,J. Mendes Filho +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, single-crystal samples of taurine, NH3C2H4SO3, were studied by Raman spectroscopy in a diamond-anvil cell up to pressures of 5.6 GPa.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evidence of magnetic polaronic states in La 0.70 Sr 0.30 Mn 1 − x Fe x O 3 manganites
A. G. Souza Filho,J.L.B. Faria,I. Guedes,José Marcos Sasaki,Paulo Freire,Valder N. Freire,J. Mendes Filho,M. Xavier,F.A.O. Cabral,J.H. de Araújo,J.A.P. da Costa +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, x-ray, electrical resistivity, and Raman scattering measurements in manganites were performed in order to detect magnetic polaronic states in the insulating paramagnetic phase of the manganite phase.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sintering of nanoparticles of α-Fe2O3 using gelatin
A.S. de Menezes,C. M. R. Remédios,José Marcos Sasaki,L. R. D. da Silva,J.C. Góes,P.M. Jardim,M. A. R. Miranda +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a single phase of α-Fe2O3 nanoparticle can be prepared using gelatin, which was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD) technique, gas sorption technique (BET), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
