TL;DR: Physical treatments, like heat, including hot water and hot air treatments, radio frequency and microwave, hypobaric and hyperbaric pressure and far ultraviolet radiation, are treated as promising control means and controlled and modified atmospheres as complementary physical tools essential to reduce or delay the development of postharvest pathogens.

TL;DR: The use of essential oils in combination with citrus wax, or incorporated into packaging by soaking pads, failed to reduce the incidence of P. digitatum and P. italicum on citrus fruits, and these treatments caused severe rind damage, which makes implementation unrealistic and impractical.

TL;DR: It is highlighted that Listex P100 could avoid pathogen growth on fresh-cut and in fruit juices with high pH during storage at 10 °C, and the combination with other technologies may be required to improve the phage application on high acidity fruits.
