Journal ArticleDOI

The effects of modified carbon nanotubes on the thermal properties of erythritol as phase change materials

TL;DR: In this article, three different methods, acid oxidation, mechanochemical process and ball milling, were used to modify multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) to prepare composite phase change materials (PCMs).
Journal ArticleDOI

Achieving good infrared-radar compatible stealth property on metamaterial-based absorber by controlling the floating rate of Al type infrared coating

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of the floating rate of Al particles on the infrared emissivity and their compatibility feature with metamaterial-based EM absorbers have been systematically investigated, and the results indicate that after coating with this PU/Al infrared layer, the infrared EM absorption performance can still be maintained without much reduction.
Journal ArticleDOI

First-principle calculations and experimental investigation on the infrared emissivity property of Mg-doped ZnO

TL;DR: In this article, the electronic properties and infrared emissivity of Zn 1-x Mg x O (x = 0.0625, 0.125) powders were systematically investigated by using the first-principle calculation s based on density functional theory (DFT).
Journal ArticleDOI

High microwave attenuation performance of planar carbonyl iron particles with orientation of shape anisotropy field

TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate that the orientation of shape anisotropy field for these PACI particles can effectively increase the complex permeability and decrease the complex permittivity values.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and characterization of the colored coating with low infrared emissivity based on nanometer pigment

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of nanometer pigment on color, surface gloss and infrared emissivity of composite coating was systematically investigated and the surface microstructure of coating was characterized.
