Journal ArticleDOI

Balloon-expandable stent repair of severe coarctation of aorta.

TL;DR: This study evaluates the feasibility and immediate results of balloon-expandable stent implantation in 10 patients with severe coarctation of aorta and finds that after balloon angioplasty alone was done, the gradient almost disappeared and the angiographic stenosis disappeared.
Journal ArticleDOI

Changes in Antioxidant Defense System Using Different Lipid Emulsions in Parenteral Nutrition in Children after Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation

TL;DR: FO-containing emulsions in PN could improve the antioxidant profile by increasing levels of α-tocopherol in children after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation who are at higher risk of suffering oxidative stress and metabolic disorders.

Journal ArticleDOI

Early-life fecal microbiome and metabolome dynamics in response to an intervention with infant formula containing specific prebiotics and postbiotics

TL;DR: The data reveal that infant formula with specific prebiotics and postbiotics may trigger responses in the intestinal microbiota composition that brings it and the ensuing fecal metabolite profile of formula fed infants closer towards those observed in breastfed infants.
