Balloon-expandable stent repair of severe coarctation of aorta.
José Suárez de Lezo,Manuel Pan,Miguel Romero,Alfonso Medina,José Segura,Djordje Pavlovic,Carlos García Martínez,Ignacio Tejero,Juan Luis Pérez Navero,Francisco Torres,Mercedes Lafuente,Enrique Hernández,Francisco Melián,Manuel Concha +13 more
TL;DR: This study evaluates the feasibility and immediate results of balloon-expandable stent implantation in 10 patients with severe coarctation of aorta and finds that after balloon angioplasty alone was done, the gradient almost disappeared and the angiographic stenosis disappeared.
Journal ArticleDOI
Changes in Antioxidant Defense System Using Different Lipid Emulsions in Parenteral Nutrition in Children after Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation
María Auxiliadora Baena-Gómez,María José De La Torre Aguilar,María D. Mesa,Juan Luis Pérez Navero,Mercedes Gil-Campos +4 more
TL;DR: FO-containing emulsions in PN could improve the antioxidant profile by increasing levels of α-tocopherol in children after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation who are at higher risk of suffering oxidative stress and metabolic disorders.

Sustitución valvular aórtica con autoinjerto pulmonar (operación de Ross) en pacientes adultos y pediátricos
Manuel Concha,Juan J. Legarra,Jaime Casares,Franco M,Dolores Mesa,Chacón A,Ignacio Muñoz,Pedro Alados,Merino C,Juan Luis Pérez Navero,Federico Vallés +10 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Early-life fecal microbiome and metabolome dynamics in response to an intervention with infant formula containing specific prebiotics and postbiotics
Alfonso Rodríguez-Herrera,Sebastian Tims,Jan Polman,Rocio Porcel Rubio,Antonio Muñoz Hoyos,Massimo Agosti,Gianluca Lista,Luigi Corvaglia,Jan Knol,Guus Roeselers,Juan Luis Pérez Navero +10 more
TL;DR: The data reveal that infant formula with specific prebiotics and postbiotics may trigger responses in the intestinal microbiota composition that brings it and the ensuing fecal metabolite profile of formula fed infants closer towards those observed in breastfed infants.
