TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated the efficacy of group interpersonal psychotherapy in alleviating depression and dysfunction and to evaluate the feasibility of conducting controlled trials in Africa, and found that it was highly efficacious in reducing depressive disorders and dysfunction.
