Synthesis of zeolite MCM-22 under rotating and static conditions
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the hydrothermal crystallization of zeolite MCM-22 in the Na 2 O-Al 2 O 3 -SiO 2 -H 2 Ohexamethyleneimine (HMI) system under rotating and static synthesis conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Soybean-derived hierarchical porous carbon with large sulfur loading and sulfur content for high-performance lithium–sulfur batteries
TL;DR: An hierarchical porous carbon nanostructure with intrinsic O- and N-dopants and an ultrahigh specific surface area of 1500 m2 g−1 is reported towards the goal of designing and achieving a better sulfur electrode for lithium-sulfur batteries as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Carbonized cellulose paper as an effective interlayer in lithium-sulfur batteries
TL;DR: In this paper, a facile method is reported to pyrolyze the commonly used cellulose filter paper into highly flexible and conductive carbon fiber paper, such a carbon paper can improve the cell capacity by several folds through trapping the soluble polysulfides.
Journal ArticleDOI
High-frequency electrochemical capacitors based on plasma pyrolyzed bacterial cellulose aerogel for current ripple filtering and pulse energy storage
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used crosslinked carbon nanofiber aerogel derived from rapid microwave plasma pyrolysis of bacterial cellulose that was synthesized in a fermentation process, and demonstrated kHz HF-ECs with areal capacitance density as high as 4.5mF cm −2 at 120 Hz in an aqueous electrolyte.
Journal ArticleDOI
The role of silver nanoparticles on silver modified titanosilicate ETS-10 in visible light photocatalysis
Zhaoxia Ji,Mariam N. Ismail,Dennis M. Callahan,Eko Pandowo,Zhuhua Cai,Trevor L. Goodrich,Katherine S. Ziemer,Juliusz Warzywoda,Albert Sacco +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the role of ionic silver, Ag+, and metallic silver (Ag0) on the potential photocatalytic activity of a titanosilicate ETS-10 semiconductor was investigated under visible light irradiation.
