Journal ArticleDOI

Level of interest in video clips modulates event-related potentials to auditory probes

TL;DR: The three-tone probe task using perceptually deviant, nontarget stimuli may be a useful objective method to assess how strongly a visual material attracts the viewer's attention.
Journal ArticleDOI

LORETA analysis of CNV in time perception

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used low-resolution electromagnetic tomography (LORETA) data to specify when and where pure temporal processing occurred in the brain and found that the right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) showed more activation in the interval task than in the pitch task.
Journal ArticleDOI

Possibility of additive effects by the presentation of visual information related to distractor sounds on the contra-sound effects of the N100m responses

TL;DR: In this article , the authors examined the additive effects of presenting visual information about contralateral sounds as distractions during dichotic listening tasks, and found that the presentation of visual information related to the sound, which worked as a distractor, significantly suppressed the amplitude of the N100m response.
