Validation study of portable device for the diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea according to the new AASM scoring criteria: Watch-PAT 100
Ji Ho Choi,Eun Joong Kim,Yang Soo Kim,June Choi,Tae Hoon Kim,Soon Young Kwon,Heung Man Lee,Sang Hag Lee,Chol Shin,Seung-Hoon Lee +9 more
TL;DR: Watch-PAT may provide an accurate and clinically effective portable monitoring method for the diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea and there was a high correlation of apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) and lowest oxygen saturation (LSAT) and a good agreement between PSG AHI, PSG LSAT and PAT A HI, PAT LSAT, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Usefulness of a Photophobia Questionnaire in Patients With Migraine
TL;DR: Using this questionnaire to test for photophobia, the diagnostic rate of photophobia and migraine could be improved and two short-form questionnaires were identified as a useful method for detecting photophobia.
Journal ArticleDOI
Generation of demyelination models by targeted ablation of oligodendrocytes in the zebrafish CNS.
Ah Young Chung,Pan Soo Kim,Suhyun Kim,Eunmi Kim,Dohyun Kim,Inyoung Jeong,Hwan Ki Kim,Jaeho Ryu,Cheol-Hee Kim,June Choi,Jin Ho Seo,Hae Chul Park +11 more
TL;DR: A demyelination animal model was generated using a transgenic zebrafish system in which oligodendrocytes are conditionally ablated in the larval and adult CNS, indicating that this transgenic system can be used as a valuable animal model to study the remyelinated process in vivo, and to conduct high-throughput primary screens for new drugs that facilitate remyELination.
Journal ArticleDOI
High mortality associated with Acinetobacter species infection in liver transplant patients.
Yun Ju Kim,Jai Hoon Yoon,Sang Il Kim,Kyung Wook Hong,Jin Il Kim,June Choi,June Choi,Sehyoun Yoon,Sehyoun Yoon,Y.K. You,M.D. Lee,In-Sung Moon,Dong Goo Kim,M.W. Kang,M.W. Kang +14 more
TL;DR: Patients with Acinetobacter species infections after liver transplantation show a significantly worse prognosis andPandrug-resistant AcinetOBacter species have been a major problem in this center.
Journal ArticleDOI
Protective effect of metformin against cisplatin-induced ototoxicity in an auditory cell line.
TL;DR: It is proposed that metformin protects against cisplatin-induced ototoxicity by inhibiting the increase in intracellular calcium levels, preventing apoptosis, and limiting ROS production.
