Ionization of Poly(ethylenimine) and Poly(allylamine) at Various pH′s
TL;DR: Titration curves for poly(ethylenimine) (PEI), lauryl-containing PEI, and poly(allylamine), a linear polyamine, manifest basicity comparable to or smaller than those of PEI as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Model studies of metalloenzymes involving metal ions as Lewis acid catalysts
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthetic Artificial Peptidases and Nucleases Using Macromolecular Catalytic Systems
TL;DR: Effective artificial enzymes have been designed by adopting macromolecular systems for catalyst-substrate complexes with substrate selectivity as well as artificial metallonucleases with high catalytic activity for double stranded DNA.

Structural and Dynamical Basis of Broad Substrate Specificity, Catalytic Mechanism, and Inhibition of Cytochrome P450 3A4
TL;DR: The results indicate that the broad substrate specificity of CYP3A4 stems from the malleability of a loop that resides in the vicinity of the channel connecting the active site and bulk solvent, but the high-amplitude motion of the flexible loop is found to be damped out upon binding of the inhibitor or the substrate in theactive site.
