TL;DR: Nanodiamond fluorescence could be easily differentiated from cellular autofluorescence, and nanodiamonds could be targeted selectively to intracellular structures, which makes them a promising tool for intrACEllular assays.

TL;DR: A highly accurate differentiation of prostate tissue was achieved in an ex vivo model using laser-induced autofluorescence, white-light remission, and high-frequency impedance spectroscopy, and a computerized algorithm was developed for tissue differentiation.
