Influences of antigen processing on the expression of the T cell repertoire. Evidence for MHC-specific hindering structures on the products of processing.
TL;DR: It is indicated that antigen processing is a major factor, in addition to MHC binding and T cell repertoire, that determines Ir gene responsiveness and epitope immunodominance and processing of native myoglobin may influence the apparent specificity of the T cell response.
Journal Article
Fine specificity of T cell recognition of the same peptide in association with different I-A molecules.
TL;DR: The results suggest that binding of an immunogenic peptide to class II molecules is not sufficient to ensure recognition by a given T cell antigen receptor specific for the peptide, but do not indicate whether the major histocompatibility complex molecules interact directly with the Tcell antigen receptor or induce a different recognizable conformation of the peptides.
