Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of barrier on partial discharge activity by a conducting particle in liquid nitrogen under AC voltages adopting UHF technique

TL;DR: In this paper, a particle movement between the barrier and high voltage/ground electrode is shown to generate a 0.5-1.5 GHz UHF signal, which is similar to the signal generated by particle movement in clean electrode gap.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrical transport and morphological study of PLD-grown nanostructured amorphous carbon thin films

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of various growth parameters on the physical and morphological properties of carbon films grown by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) was investigated and the most significant result was the observation of a large electroresistance value.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrical transport properties of Dy0.5Gd4.5Si2Ge2

TL;DR: In this paper, a polycrystalline, Dy0.5Gd4.5Si2Ge2 compound (monoclinic, space group P21/a) has been synthesized and characterized.

Electronic structure and magnetic properties of 3d-4f double perovskite material

TL;DR: In this article , the electronic structure and magnetic properties of an ordered double perovskite material Ho 2 CoMnO 6 were investigated and the stability of magnetic ordering and charge states was analyzed through electronic structure calculations.
