Journal ArticleDOI

Cyclotron production of Ac-225 for targeted alpha therapy.

TL;DR: The feasibility of producing Ac-225 by proton irradiation of Ra-226 in a cyclotron through the reaction Ra- 226(p,2n)Ac-225 has been experimentally demonstrated for the first time.
Journal ArticleDOI

Radiolabelling of engineered nanoparticles for in vitro and in vivo tracing applications using cyclotron accelerators

TL;DR: An outline of some cyclotron-based irradiation techniques that can be used to directly radiolabel industrially manufactured nanoparticles, as well as two techniques for synthesis of labelled nanoparticles using cyclotrons-generated radioactive precursor materials.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cyclotron production of 44Sc for clinical application

TL;DR: The aim of this work was to optimize the parameters of 44CaCO3 irradiation and to develop a simple procedure for 44Sc separation from the calcium target and the cost of 44Sc-DOTATATE production can be reduced by target recovery.
Journal ArticleDOI

Excitation functions and yields for cyclotron production of radiorhenium via nat W(p,xn) 181-186g Re nuclear reactions and tests on the production of 186g Re using enriched 186 W

TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of stacked-foil activation on tungsten foils of natural isotopic composition for different proton energies up to 22.0 MeV was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cross-sections of the reaction 232Th(p,3n)230Pa for production of 230U for targeted alpha therapy.

TL;DR: The experimental excitation function for the (232)Th(p,3n)(230)Pa reaction up to 34 MeV proton energy has been measured using the stacked-foil technique and is in good agreement with selected literature values and with model calculations using the EMPIRE II code.
