TL;DR: The bioresorbable scaffold was associated with a higher incidence of device thrombosis than the metallic stent in the context of routine clinical practice through 2 years of follow‐up, and there was no significant difference in the rate of target‐vessel failure between patients undergoing PCI.

TL;DR: The age of intracoronary thrombi, aspirated during angioplasty in patients with acute STEMI indicates that sudden coronary occlusion is often preceded by a variable period of plaque instability and thrombus formation, initiated days or weeks before onset of symptoms.
