Journal ArticleDOI

Clinicopathological significance of the CRTC3-MAML2 fusion transcript in mucoepidermoid carcinoma.

TL;DR: It is confirmed that the clinicopathological features of CRTC1–MAML2-positive mucoepidermoid carcinomas indicated an indolent course, and CRTC3–MamL2 fusion, which is mutually exclusive withCRTC1-MAMl2 fusion and specific to mucoEPidermoids carcinoma, may be detected more frequently than previously expected.
Journal ArticleDOI

Acquisition of EMT phenotype in the gefitinib-resistant cells of a head and neck squamous cell carcinoma cell line through Akt/GSK-3β/snail signalling pathway.

TL;DR: Results suggest that EMT in the gefitinib-resistant cells is mediated by the downregulation of EGFR and compensatory activation of Akt/GSK-3β/snail pathway.
Journal ArticleDOI

Warthin-like Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma: A Combined Study of Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization and Whole-slide Imaging.

TL;DR: A subset of mWT-like tumors were positive for the CRTC1-MAML2 fusion and had many features that are more in accord with MEC than with WT, and the term Warthin-like MEC should be considered for fusion-positive m WT- like tumors.
Journal ArticleDOI

MYB, MYBL1, MYBL2 and NFIB gene alterations and MYC overexpression in salivary gland adenoid cystic carcinoma

TL;DR: This study examined alterations of AdCC‐associated genes, MYB, MYBL1, MyBL2 and NFIB, and their target molecules, including MYC, and the results were correlated to clinicopathological profile of the patients.
