Time-Aggregation Bias in Hazard-Rate Models with Covariates
Trond Petersen,Kenneth W. Koput +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a model with a single categorical covariate with h categories is considered and the bias of the estimator that assumes the durations are exactly measured, when the duration measures are in fact rounded up to the nearest integer is analyzed.

Unobserved Heterogeneity or Legitimacy in Density Dependence: A Rejoinder to Hannan, Barron, and Carroll
Trond Petersen,Kenneth W. Koput +1 more
TL;DR: Kopu et al. as mentioned in this paper showed that once organizational age was controlled unobserved heterogeneity produced spurious negative density dependence in only 3 of 10 replications, even under the structure we assumed.
