Synthesis of Light-Emitting Conjugated Polymers for Applications in Electroluminescent Devices

TL;DR: School of Chemistry, Bio21 Institute, University of Melbourne, 30 Flemington Road, Victoria 3010, Australia; School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Nastyang Avenue, Republic of Singapore 639798; Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE) and the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), 3 Research Link, Singapore 117602.
Journal ArticleDOI

Poly(2,7-dibenzosilole): A Blue Light Emitting Polymer

TL;DR: Suzuki copolymerization of dibromo and bis(boronate) monomers afforded poly(9,9-dihexyl-2,7-dibenzosilole) which showed better efficiency than the corresponding polyfluorene in a single layer light emitting device.
Journal ArticleDOI

Poly(9,9-dialkyl-3,6-dibenzosilole)--a high energy gap host for phosphorescent light emitting devices.

TL;DR: Suzuki copolymerisation afforded poly(9,9-dioctyl-3,6-dibenzosilole) which has a sufficiently high triplet energy to function as a host for green electrophosphorescent emitters.
Journal ArticleDOI

The tuning of the energy levels of dibenzosilole copolymers and applications in organic electronics

TL;DR: In this article, Suzuki polycondensation reactions were used to afford a series of eight conjugated materials by the respective combination of either a 3,6- or 2,7-linked 9,9-dioctyldibenzosilole with 3, 6-linked-N-octylcarbazole, triarylamine, oxadiazole and triazole monomers.
