Journal ArticleDOI
Removal and prevention of asphaltene deposition during oil production: A literature review
TL;DR: In this paper, a review of different factors influencing the deposition of asphaltenes is presented, which sheds light on the strategy to control and minimize asphalte deposits by inhibitors or dispersants to avoid any harmful consequence.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Effect of Carboxymethylcellulose and Xanthan on the Rheology of Bentonite Suspensions
TL;DR: In this paper, the rheological properties of bentonite suspensions at different concentrations, with and without anionic polymer additives, are investigated, and it has been shown that the presence of carboxymethylcellulose in the bentonite suspension has helped to remove the yield stress and to increase viscosity of the mixture.
Journal ArticleDOI
Study of the impact of bentonite on the physico-mechanical and flow properties of cement grout
TL;DR: Cement-based grouts have been used successfully to repair cracks in many concrete structures, to ensure the stability of slopes or retaining walls and to reinforce soils or rock foundations as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Bentonite on the Rheological Behavior of Cement Grout in Presence of Superplasticizer
Journal ArticleDOI
Rheological behavior of cement-based grout with Algerian bentonite
TL;DR: In this article, a non-hydrated Algerian bentonite cement slurry was formulated in the presence of a superplasticizer and various rheological models were used such as the models of Bingham, Herschel-Bulkley and Papanastasiou.
