Journal ArticleDOI
Carrier concentrations and relaxation spectroscopy : new information from scaling properties of conductivity spectra in ionically conducting glasses
TL;DR: In this article, a new kind of scaling analysis for the conductivity spectra of glasses without any arbitrary parameters is presented, and strong indications for the existence of a universal ionic relaxation process as well as for a strong electrolyte behavior are found.
Journal ArticleDOI
Solid State Ionics: from Michael Faraday to green energy—the European dimension
TL;DR: During the last few decades, much progress has been made in finding and investigating novel solid electrolytes and in using them for the preservation of the authors' environment, in particular in advanced solid state battery systems, fuel cells and sensors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ionic conduction in solids: Comparing conductivity and modulus representations with regard to scaling properties
TL;DR: In this article, the scaling properties of both the ac conductivity and the modulus were examined and it was shown that the electric modulus representation is not a suitable tool for such purposes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dynamics of mobile ions in crystals, glasses and melts
TL;DR: In this article, the concept of mismatch and relaxation (CMR) is used to analyze the conductivity spectra of the mobile ions in the entire range from dc to far-infrared frequencies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ion transport in fast ion conductors — spectra and models
TL;DR: In this paper, the jump relaxation model is extended to describe not only crystalline but also glassy electrolytes, with a view to describe both crystalline and glassy ion conductivities.
