Transcriptional regulation in key metabolic pathways of Actinobacillus succinogenes in the presence of electricity.

TL;DR: In this paper , the impact of a bioelectrochemical system in succinic acid fermentation and the metabolic response of Actinobacillus succinogenes was evaluated via RNA expression of the key enzymes that participate in TCA cycle, pyruvate metabolism and oxidative phosphorylation.

A bioelectrochemical system as stabilizing and remediating agent in anaerobic digestion

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that, in contrast to several other studies which could only increase methane production by introducing a BES in AD, a B ES can remediate anaerobic digestion systems which exhibited severe process failure.
