Journal ArticleDOI

The stoichiometry and poisoning by sulfur of hydrogen, oxygen and carbon monoxide chemisorption on unsupported nickel

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the hydrogen adsorption isotherms of nickel powder at room temperature and at 200 °C and showed that the H/Nis ratio on unsupported nickel is 1:1 at both temperatures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optimum coating thickness for the fastest chilldown of Teflon-coated stainless steel flat plate in liquid nitrogen pool

TL;DR: In this paper , a model was developed to accurately determine the optimum thickness of a low-thermal-conductivity coating layer applied on a stainless steel flat plate resulting in the fastest chilldown of the plate in a cryogenic liquid pool.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experiments for Pressure Drop of Scrubbing Layer in a Scrubber System

TL;DR: In this article , experiments on the pressure drop characteristics in the scrubbing layer are conducted to investigate the effect of the scrubber on the engine load, and it is confirmed that the saddle-type filler was the largest porosity.
