TL;DR: In both men and women the levels of hypertension and SBP were strongly positively associated with BMI, although the relationship appeared to plateau in women with a BMI greater than ⩾25 kg/m2, while at a given BMI, men and men had similar SBPs and prevalences of hypertension.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors collected spot urine samples from 370 women, 25 years and older as a part of a population-based, cross-sectional blood pressure survey in an urban community in Zimbabwe and analyzed the samples for albumin and β2-microglobulin.
